The Heart behind Pure Waves

Michalina’s journey:

I was raised away from the sea in Poland, and spent years in the corporate world until I decided to try surfing! Best decision of my life.

From the very first wave I knew that this is the beginning of the rest of my life.

After years of travelling I found myself in Fuerteventura and it’s raw energy kept me here to train and discover my passion further.

My love and dedication to surfing took me from complete beginner all the way to representing the national team at the ISA World Surfing Championships.

PURE WAVES Surf School was found to guide you through every doubt and every triumph. I love to be a part of your journey and maybe your life will change forever too!

The groups are small, which means that every participant gets a lot of feedback and attention. Michelle managed to choose times and spots with little to no crowds - sometimes we were literally alone in the water!

How booking works

No online payment, no complicated forms – just a quick message.

Tell me which lesson you’d like, how many people, your preferred dates and your surfing level.

I confirm your lesson

I reply as soon as I’m out of the water, pick the best beach for the day’s conditions and tell you where to meet – or pick you up.

Go surfing!

Bring water, a towel, sunscreen and a swimsuit. Wetsuit, board and instructor are included.

Bad conditions? If I cancel because of dangerous weather or flat surf, you choose a full refund or a new date. You also get a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before.

Questions before you book

I’ve never surfed before – is that OK?

Absolutely. Most of my students are complete beginners. We start with theory and safety on the beach, then practise in the water at a spot matched to your level.

Do I need to be a good swimmer?

No need to be a strong swimmer, but you should be able to swim at least 15 metres on your own.

Can kids join?

Yes – family lessons are made for parents and kids together, in gentle, waist-deep water with a coach dedicated to your family.

Where do the lessons take place?

I choose the beach each day based on the forecast and your level, around the north of Fuerteventura. Pick-up and drop-off are available in Corralejo, Majanicho, Lajares and El Cotillo.

What’s included in the price?

Wetsuit, a surfboard matched to your size, a qualified instructor, theory and safety on the beach and practice time in the water – 3 to 4 hours in total.
