When you only have a few days on holiday, the last thing you want is to lose money on a lesson that doesn’t happen. Here is how we handle the weather – and exactly what happens if the conditions are not right.

We choose the beach every day
Fuerteventura has beaches facing in many directions, so there is usually somewhere with good waves for beginners. We check the forecast, wind and tides for every lesson and pick the spot that matches your level that day. That is a big part of what you are paying for – you don’t need to worry about where to go.
If you are staying in Corralejo, Majanicho, Lajares or El Cotillo, we can also pick you up and drop you off.
What if the waves are too big or there are no waves?
Your safety comes first. If we have to cancel a lesson because of dangerous weather, poor conditions or flat surf, you choose: a full refund or a new date. You don’t lose anything.
What if I need to cancel?
Plans change, we understand. Our policy is simple:
- Cancel at least 24 hours before: full refund
- Less than 24 hours before (or no-show): no refund
Full details are on our FAQ & cancellation policy page.
Tips for planning around the weather
- Book early in your trip. If a day is cancelled, there is time to reschedule.
- Stay flexible with times. We plan sessions around the best tide and wind windows.
- Book a package. Two or three group lessons give you more chances to surf in good conditions – and cost less per lesson.
